ECDC corporate staff support the councils mission of resettling and assisting refugees and immigrants in the U.S. while promoting education and equitable access to resources, opportunities, and services in Africa.

This hired us to design a space for the corporate employees and provide project management services.  The design included several key features in their 6000 square-foot premises in Arlington, VA. Starting from the blueprint stage, we partnered with the architect, builders, various contractors, furniture manufacturers and installation companies to design two conference rooms, their breakrooms, 50 cubicles, open concept work space, privacy rooms and lounges, executive offices, and a C-Suite equipped with meeting spaces, refreshment areas and a full bathroom:

• Programmed the layout for daily flow, productivity, and cross-team communication
• Designed a spacious kitchen with custom cabinetry, appliances, and comfortable seating
• Designed cubicles, furnishing, and workstations keeping aesthetics, brand image, and functionality in minds
• Selected performance fabrics, commercial-grade and other durable materials
• Sourced office chairs, sofas, and ottomans in creative and welcoming colors
• Designed inspiring and sound-proof board meeting rooms
