Statement Design Concepts' 5-Phase Design Service

At Statement Design Concepts, we make sure to follow our ‘5 Phase Design Service’ to ensure that every project is completed with utmost perfection and that our clients are satisfied on every step of the way. Read to find out more!

PHASE 1 -
Consultation & Initial Meetings

The design process begins with an analysis to understand needs and requirements.

We discuss design ideas, styles, budgets, processes, and timeline.

While evaluating the space we take measurements and photographs.

If applicable, we will review blueprints and onboard with the contractors and design build team.

PHASE 2 -
Design & development

We begin designing the space based on the consultations, any existing pieces, and new recommendations by our design team.

During this phase we create space plans for furniture layouts.

Line-item budget forecasts are presented for purchasing.

We also move into creative development where we provide interior design mood boards.

We will review and discuss changes based on your feedback.

If applicable, we meet with any contractors or design build teams involved in the process.

PHASE 3 -
Selection & Procurement

During this phase we create and bring the design alive!

We select and procure furnishings in order to complete the project based on the design, your approval, style and functional needs.

We have partnerships with a variety of to-the-trade vendors. Statement Design Concepts will provide access to brands that you may not have direct access to.

During this phase we provide reports on where we stand with budget forecasts and actually spending.

If applicable, we meet with the contractors to select and finalize material and plans.

PHASE 4 -
Project management & Purchasing

We order all furnishings and accessories through our company’s trade resources for your design.

This involves a great deal of managing logistics and coordination.

Statement Design Concepts provides high touch client service and ensures product quality. We make sure the product is up to par and ready for delivery and installation.

If applicable, during this phase we visit the site and ensure the project is moving along in accordance with the design plan.

PHASE 5 -
Installation & Reveal

Creating the “Ah Ha” moment.

This involves scheduling deliveries and making sure all work is complete by all vendors and contractors in accordance to the design and plans.

We make sure all items are delivered, installed and styled with a beautiful and inspiring finish. We take care of every detail from artwork to furniture placement.

This brings us to the “big reveal” and walkthrough making sure everything is to your satisfaction, ready to enjoy and be photographed!
